Carta del Prior General a Su Santidad Benedicto XVI
Con motivo de la renuncia del Papa Benedicto XVI, el Prior General ha enviado una carta a nombre de la Orden del Carmen en la que expresa su gratitud al Santo Padre, tanto por su servicio a la Iglesia Universal, como por los gestos de afecto hacia el Carmelo tenidos durante estos años. El Prior General le recuerda las diversas beatificaciones y canonizaciones que han tenido lugar durante su pontificado y, asimismo, le agradece los cuatro encuentros personales que han mantenido durante estos años por diversos motivos. En nombre del Carmelo, el P. Fernando le asegura a Su Santidad la oración filial y el esfuerzo renovado por la evangelización y el servicio generoso a la Iglesia.
Letter of the Prior General to His Holiness Benedict XVI
On the occasion of the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, the Prior General sent a letter on behalf of the Carmelite Order, in which he expressed his gratitude to the Holy Father, for his ministry to the universal Church, and also for his warm affection for Carmel over the years. The Prior General recalled the various beatifications and the canonization that took place during his pontificate, thanking him for the four personal meetings he had over the years for various reasons. On behalf of the Carmelites Fr. Fernando assured His Holiness of our continued prayer and renewed commitment to evangelization and our dedicated service to the church.
Lettera del Priore Generale a Sua Santità Benedetto XVI
In occasione della rinuncia di Papa Benedetto XVI il Priore Generale ha inviato a nome dell'Ordine Carmelitano una lettera, nella quale esprime la gratitudine al Santo Padre, soprattutto per il suo servizio alla Chiesa Universale, ma anche per i suoi gesti di affetto per il Carmelo durante questi anni. Il Priore Generale gli ricorda le varie beatificazioni e la canonizzazione avvenute durante il suo pontificato e gli ringrazia per i quattro incontri personali che ha avuto per vari motivi durante questi anni. A nome del Carmelo P. Fernando assicura a Sua Santità la preghiera filiale e l'impegno rinnovato per l'evangelizzazione e il servizio generoso per la chiesa.
